About

I've spent twenty years standing at the exact point where a technology crosses from interesting to inevitable.

From wireline networks to 4G LTE to cloud to AI — each time the infrastructure layer shifts, I'm the person helping everyone else build on top of it. Right now that means bridging frontier AI and the people who need to use it. Most of the world is still figuring out how to move from “we should use AI” to actually doing it.

That's the problem I wake up thinking about. Every major platform follows the same pattern: a new infrastructure layer emerges, the people who understand it best build the on-ramps for everyone else, and the entire economy restructures around it. Broadband did this. Mobile did this. Cloud did this. AI is doing it now — faster than any previous shift.

Experience

20 years
2022 — Present

AWS & Anthropic

Joined AWS as a Senior Solutions Architect in Financial Services, launching the first core banking workloads on AWS in North America. Then I read the GPT-3 paper — and everything clicked. I saw the trajectory before most people saw the technology.

I pivoted into Applied AI and became Anthropic’s first Applied AI GTM Solution Architect at AWS. I launched Claude 3 in March 2024, built a global technical field community of hundreds of Claude experts across every AWS region, and helped scale Anthropic’s business from double-digit millions to over a billion in roughly 24 months.

Now I own the global GTM strategy for Claude Code — Anthropic’s developer tool that’s redefining how software gets built.

The pivotal moment: reading the GPT-3 paper while at Apple and knowing everything was about to change. That conviction drove the move to AWS, the bet on Anthropic, and every decision since.

2018 — 2022

Apple

Partner Manager and Senior Mobility Consultant, managing enterprise commercial relationships with Canada’s top carriers. Solutions selling mobility across business and enterprise segments — learning how to translate complex technology into business outcomes at scale.

2006 — 2018

TELUS

A 13-year arc from wireline networks to 4G LTE to DevOps. Launched Canada’s first 4G LTE Core network. Progressed from Wireline Specialist through Network Analyst, Enterprise Engineer, Wireless Core Engineer, Sales Engineer, and DevOps Service Owner.

This is the foundation that most people in AI completely lack — deep infrastructure knowledge built over more than a decade of keeping networks running at national scale.
